shopping, pacifiers, random

she is getting to be such a big girl! we went shopping today, ella started to get fussy after about a good hour of shopping, so i took her out of her car seat and carried her around for a while. then i got curious to see if she would do ok sitting in the shopping cart... aaand she did AMAZING!

she has such a hard time keeping pacifiers in her mouth, the only time that keeps them in her mouth is when i am putting her to sleep... i guess it's a good thing that she doesn't get used to them.

Just a random picture of her yesterday.

aaaand, i think she is getting ready to start crawling!!!

she makes me sooo happy!!!!

roberts' birthday

We had a blast on roberts' birthday, thanks to ryan and breanne. we drove all the way out to fullerton only to find out that ryan and robs DLs were expired and that they would not let them go in the bar that we were planning on going into!!!! we ended up finding a bar that we were able to get in to and we made the best of it. it was a good time.

my sick ella

My ella has been sick for about 5 days now, her cough started getting worse, and then she started wheezing, this is when i drew the line and decided to take her to see her pediatrician, she has bronchiolitis (an infection in the lungs) and infections in both ears.
when dr. chevez told me ella diagnosis, i felt so bad to know that she was in so much pain... i would have never thought that it would be more serious that just a cold since she is so good and wasn't as fussy as i would have thought a baby with ear infections and an infection in their lungs would be.

she is such a good girl and i KNOW that i lucked out with her.

oh and by the way, she is 19 lb 6.4 oz and 2' 3.25" at 6 months... she's my fatt girl!!

oh, how i love her!

my little cowgirl

Thanks auntie bree for my cowgirl outfit!

Manuel Trigo

This was one of the most emotional times in entire life, ella meeting my dad. it has been almost 15 years since he has been in heaven. it is very hard for me to think that ella will never meet the man that meant so much to me, although i was so young when he passed, i still remember him so clearly, his salt and pepper hair, his dimples, and with a rosary always in his hands. i know that he is looking down on us, and i just hope that he is proud of what i am becoming.

Peter W. Van de Weerd

On December 28th, 2008, we decided that it was about time to take ella and maddison to meet their great grandfather. it was amazing to see robert, ryan, and patti so happy to be there. it was an amazing day and i am sure that he was very happy to meet the girls.

mission inn

Thanks to Amy for the wonderful pictures! i had never been to the mission inn prior to this day, it was AMAZING. the lights were beautiful, it was decorated so elegantly, and the weather was perfect for the girls.

November 13th 2008

a day at the pumpkin patch.
it was a fun day, ella was just not very happy to be there she had the same face the whole time that we were there, it sort of had us laughing, maddison on the other hand, was having a great time playing with the hay. good family time.
